In order to complete this process Taglia Dentistry uses a CAD / CAM (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing technology using a camera, computer and a milling machine all in one instrument.  Taglia Dentistry utilizes a small camera to take an accurate picture of the decayed tooth structure.  Once the image of the damaged tooth has been captured it is immediately displayed on our color computer screen, where at this point Taglia Dentistry uses the CAD technology to design a permanent restoration.
